Lion Ark Selected for Omaha Film Festival

Lion Ark has been selected for the 9th Annual Omaha Film Festival (March 5-9, 2014).

Voted by MovieMaker magazine as one of the “Top 25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee,” the Omaha Film Festival celebrates the artistic, educational, and historical importance of motion pictures. Premieres and award winning films that have shown at the festival include Half Nelson, War/Dance, Sunshine Cleaning, and Renee. Past guests include Famke Janssen, Chad Michael Murray, Jaime King, Chris Klein, Shane Black, and Tom Elkins.

Chosen from over 500 entries, Lion Ark is one of 90+ films screening at this year’s Festival. Praised by the New York Times, Hollywood Reporter, and numerous film critics, Lion Ark has been taking the film festival circuit by storm, winning Best Documentary at Sun & Sand Film & Music Festival, Audience Choice Best Documentary at San Diego Film Festival, and an Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary at Anchorage International Film Festival. Most recently, Lion Ark was nominated for a 45th NAACP Image Award.
