Lion Ark to premiere in Austria

Posted: 25 May 2014

Lion Ark will premiere in Austria at the Crossroads Festival in Graz on May 31. The screening will be followed by a Question & Answer session by Animal Defenders International (ADI), the animal protection organisation that undertook the daring rescue of Bolivia’s circus animals. Watch as the story unfolds, and comes to a joyous conclusion, with 25 lions being airlifted to freedom in the US.

Tim Phillips, producer of Lion Ark says “Lion Ark is that rare thing, a film about a serious animal protection issue that has a happy ending and will leave you smiling. This is an uplifting film that shows what people can do when they pull together and take action. It is a film about cooperation and working for a better world.”

Lion Ark is only the beginning. Preparations are underway right now to launch Operation Spirit of Freedom in Peru – an epic-scale rescue mission to relocate a huge number of animals, from lions and tigers, to monkeys, birds and coati. All donations from the Lion Ark premiere will go towards saving these animals from lives of despair.

This is your chance to be one of the first in Austria to see the “feel good movie of the year”.
