The record-breaking Operation Lion Ark began with ADI rescuing and relocating EVERY SINGLE SUFFERING CIRCUS ANIMAL in Bolivia and ended on February 16 2011, with the last 25 lucky lions touching down at Denver airport to start their new life of freedom at The Wild Animal Sanctuary.

There is plenty of grass to hide and play in.

Thirsty lions take a drink.

The lions have underground dens for sleeping and shelter from the weather.

They can be together whenever they choose.

A lions stalks through the grass.

A group of lionesses enjoy a little rest and relaxation.

A lioness pauses in the long grass.

They have plenty of space to explore ...
