Rescued tigers relocated in South Africa

Two Bengal tigers, whose plight forced new rules to be passed in over 160 countries, were moved to safety to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre after spending eight years on a game sanctuary in northern KwaZulu-Natal. Animal Defenders International (ADI) organised their move in South Africa for their protection.

ADI had rescued the tigers once before from the Akef circus in Mozambique in 1997.
