Government commissions research into welfare of sea lions in circuses

In December 2013, our friends at Wilde Dieren de Tent Uit reported that the Secretary of State had commissioned research into the welfare of sea lions in circuses. As ADI evidence shows, these intelligent, aquatic animals suffer in circuses.

New Dutch government proposes circus ban

Winter 2013 update: The new Dutch government has announced plans to ban the use of wild animals in circuses. ADI welcomes this decision and congratulates our friends at Wilde Dieren de Tent Uit (No Wild Animals in Circuses) for their efforts in campaigning on this issue.
