What you can do:
Please write POLITE letters to the Council urging them to cancel the event. Contact details for the Mayor and Council are below.
ADI has contacted Mayor Busch and the Perris City Council, sharing our video evidence and detailing the serious risk to public safety of abused elephants marching along a crowded parade route without any barriers.

ADI had released video evidence depicting the current owners and trainers of elephant provider, Have Trunk Will Travel, violently hitting and shocking their elephants during routine husbandry and training. Further, the owners have confirmed that the video depicts their staff and their elephants, and stated publicly that they stand by their training methods.

Many California fairs and cities have severed ties with Have Trunk Will Travel following the release of ADIís video evidence. Among them are the cities of Santa Ana, Fountain Valley and Sierra Madre and the Los Angeles and Orange County Fairs.

Please contact the Mayor and City Council and send a polite message urging them to cancel the elephant appearance from the Holiday Parade and follow the example of other city leaders across Southern California:
