British circus ban: Still work to do

There is still work to be done to ban the use of wild animals in British circuses.

This week (13th May) ADI presented our submission to the Government Committee that is scrutinising the draft Bill. Overall it is a good Bill and it is important that it moves forward.

ADI highlighted concerns about any potential loopholes and time for implementation. Defra confirms that this Bill could be radically changed before being actually tabled in Parliament it could be seriously weakened.

It has taken a lot of hard work to get this far but it is too soon to stop.

Take action

REMEMBER THE GREATEST THREAT TO THIS BAN IS THAT IT IS NOT GIVEN THE TIME TO PASS BEFORE THE NEXT ELECTION.
