White Plains, NY FEBRUARY 1, 2008
Supporters of Animal Defenders International (ADI) in White Plains, New York will join outside Westchester County Center on Feb. 16, 2008 from 1pm - 2 pm to protest the presence of the Royal Hanneford Circus.
Animals in circuses suffer in many ways, every day of their lives; from environmental or social deprivation; from living in confined spaces with no freedom to move around; from lack of control over their access to food or water. Day-to-day life for circus animals is one of confinement, restriction of movement and deprivation, punctuated by violence – whether a kick, a punch, a whipping or a full-blown beating.
Please join ADI activist Beatrice Varnit to protest this cruelty.
