New York Circus Protest February 16, 2008

Posted: 1 February 2008

White Plains, NY FEBRUARY 1, 2008

Supporters of Animal Defenders International (ADI) in White Plains, New York will join outside Westchester County Center on Feb. 16, 2008 from 1pm - 2 pm to protest the presence of the Royal Hanneford Circus.

Animals in circuses suffer in many ways, every day of their lives; from environmental or social deprivation; from living in confined spaces with no freedom to move around; from lack of control over their access to food or water. Day-to-day life for circus animals is one of confinement, restriction of movement and deprivation, punctuated by violence whether a kick, a punch, a whipping or a full-blown beating.

Please join ADI activist Beatrice Varnit to protest this cruelty.
