Animal Defenders International

Free ADI Film Screening in San Francisco

Posted: 25 October 2006

Join Animal Defenders International (ADI) and the San Francisco Vegetarian Society (SFVS) for a free film screening of Toto Goes Home at the Red Victorian Peace Café Friday, October 27 at 6:30 pm

Toto Goes Home is the amazing heartwarming story of Toto the chimpanzee. Snatched from the wild as a baby, Toto was sold to a circus and toured South America for over 20 years, chained by the neck and living in a packing crate. In an incredible mission, Toto was rescued from Chile by Animal Defenders International and returned to Africa. Toto’s loneliness finally ends when – for the first time in over two decades – he embraces a fellow chimpanzee. Enjoy Toto’s incredible adventure as he explores the African bush.

Admission to the film showing is free, and there will be vegetarian and vegan food available. Toto Goes Home DVDs as well as other ADI merchandise will be available for sale.
