Volunteering at ADI

Posted: 29 June 2009. Updated: 3 August 2010

There are a number of different ways you can help us in your free time.

Volunteering at our London Office:

Could you spare a few hours during the day to help us at our London office?

Whatever your expertise, we would welcome your assistance. Some of our volunteers help out for two hours a week and others up to two days per week. Other people come when their jobs and family commitments allow and just when they can. All are very welcome and greatly appreciated.

Some of the jobs you may get involved with include data entry, fulfilling supporter orders for leaflets, etc, reception work/answering supporter queries, research library and filing. If this sounds as if it may interest you, please get in touch as soon as possible. We also run an internship scheme.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact:
Execassist@ad-international.org

Charitable Trusts and Company Foundations:

The National Anti-Vivisection Society and Animal Defenders International are non-profit making organisations. Our work is dependent on our generous supporters, as well as on the generosity of companies and charitable trusts that offer grants to fund projects.

If you have contacts in a charitable trust, or if the company you work for supports animal welfare causes, then do please consider giving us a call to discuss the opportunity. I’m sure we will be able to find a suitable project!

Fundraising:

Take part in a Street Collection, organise a sponsored event, or run an information stall. Whatever your preference, we are sure to have some ideas for you.

Whatever you decide to do, we will be very grateful - we couldn’t do our work without volunteers like you. So, thankyou!
