Join ADI at the Animal Film Festival in Northern California!

Posted: 4 February 2019. Updated: 4 February 2019

On Saturday February 9th, ADI founders, Jan Creamer and Tim Phillips will be special guests addressing the 6th Annual Animal Film Festival, Grass Valley in northern California.

Join us on opening night to hear first-hand about ADI’s rescue work, including a new video featuring Operation Liberty in Guatemala and our new sanctuary in South Africa. We will have the very latest on how the rescue of the 21 circus lions and tigers is going. Find out more here

Our ADI presentation will be followed by a screening of short film ANIMA, a thought-provoking documentary which, through interviews with faith leaders, representing 12 different religions, challenges preconceptions of what religion actually says about our relationship with and responsibility toward other species. Never before have so many different voices of faith come together with such a strong message of compassion towards animals.

Anima was made by, and generously funded by The Guibord Center, as a way for the work of ADI to reach the potentially billions of, followers of these religions by resonating with the teachings of their faith. After the ANIMA screening, our good friend Dr. Lo Sprague Vice President of The Guibord Center, will lead a discussion which Jan and Tim will take part in. Find out more here

When: Saturday, February 9, from 6pm
Where: Gold Miners Inn Ballroom, 121 Bank St., Grass Valley, CA 95945

Over 20 other films about animals will also be screening at the festival, so we do hope you can join us. We will also be about on Sunday and hope any ADI supporters will come and say ‘Hello’.
